The building housing Cooper University Health Care’s ambulatory surgery and specialty care center in Voorhees has sold for $53.9 million, according to property records.

The 116,000-square-foot outpatient facility at 900 Centennial Boulevard was acquired by an entity affiliated with Remedy Medical Properties. The seller was Welltower OM Group.

The Voorhees campus includes four operating rooms and a range of outpatient services. These services include primary care, radiology, laboratory services, heart care, endocrinology, sports medicine, and orthopedics.

The property also houses a satellite location for the MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper. More than 100 Cooper employees work at the site.

A Cooper spokesperson confirmed the sale will not impact operations. The health system will continue providing services at the facility.

Chicago-based Remedy Medical Properties specializes in owning and managing medical real estate nationwide. The acquisition reinforces investor demand for stabilized healthcare assets in suburban markets.
